I don't think his acting like an ass was meant to discourage you from continuing to be part of the community. A lot of people just don't like the redundancy of you posting two announcements about it.

It's like someone standing on the top of a building threatening to jump, and 30 seconds later screaming "I MEAN IT!" to get as much attention as they can before they do it.

If you feel the need to quit, that's fine. Just don't give anyone here any reason to hate you after. (God, I can't believe I have to make this speech again..)

Sure there are people who want nothing more in the entire universe then to destroy our little gaming community, but hey, that's the way it's always been. There's always going to be pricks trying to ruin the fun for others, but you can't let the little sacks of crap bother you. If you do, they win..
