Its irrelevant, because steam didnt come out till 2003, i was playing TFC and half-life WAY before then. So my best guess would be that people with 6 digit steam IDs were lucky enough to have been within the first million to DOWNLOAD steam, not to own valve products

yeah, it used to be the WON id that was a big deal(which i had a 5 digit during that time as well w00t). when steam came out i tried to get it as fast as possible so i got my STEAM_0:0:439936

i refused to stop playing 1.5 til all the servers went down. then i went to 1.6. and wouldnt leave that til my son came over and made me install my christmas gift he gave me css and hl2.
