Local Please Make Changes to Server Instead Of Ignoring Peoples Requests

First of all, I would like to apologize for how the title of this thread may have sounded.  This server belongs to Local and he is free to do with it as he may!

Myself and others have suggested making changes to the server and as time goes by it seems that they are either ignored or not deemed good enough.  We never really get a clear answer on them, thus the speculation.

Local, the server has some issues that need to be resolved and if you do not want to make changes then at least post on this thread stating so, because otherwise it seems that you ignore the loyal fans of your server.

The changes in particular that bother universally everyone are:

1.  WE NEVER MAKE IT PAST DAY 14 BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MANY DAYS, TOO MANY ZOMBIES AND NO VOTE EXTEND.  Please, either reduce the number of zombies, or the number of days or at least let us vote extend the map!

Please attend to this request or state simply that you have no intention to change this, one way or another!

I play on this server a lot and the only time we have made it to the Chainsaw guys is when an admin bumps us.

PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THIS ONE AND FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2.  One reason why we do not make it past day 14 is:  Only 9 Zombies spawn when the sever is full (which is often), which means its 20 people and 9 bots.  This extends the time it takes to kill 200+ zombies. 

The game is HARDLY A CHALLENGE when only 9 zombies spawn at any given time.  This was not how the server was when there were hordes of zombies coming from all over. 

Now people go searching for zombies because they are an endangered species.


3.  Bring back the old classes.  I know myself and others have asked you regarding this over and over and again.  I do not understand why you choose to ignore this but you have to face the fact that the new classes other than perhaps Medic and Support suck big time. 

The assault and engineer class are a joke and worthless when compared to the old marine class.  Even their so called Nades and Rockers do not do any damage 

This one item that you consistently continue to ignore/not deem worth fixing, that I feel needs to be fixed.


4.  Zombies hiding from sniper rifles.  I do not know what it is, but whenever someone has a sniper rifle, the zombies hide from the person.  This really slows down the game when there are only 9 zombies alive on the whole map and the 3 that are near you are hiding because a guy that does not speak english will not drop the gun.

There are other issues such as gun glitching so often within seconds that money runs out, no Chuckys which were the best boss, reduction of people from 64 to 40, but those are minor in nature.

I feel that items 1, 2 and 3 need to be fixed and we would appreciate if you would let us know what you plan to do with them by stating so.  I realize that fixing some of these may require a lot of work, but if I were to guess, items 1 and 2 should not be hard to fix.

How about instead of demanding he fix things you read the reasons some things CANT be fixed.

Since the update things such as eventscripts DO NOT WORK ANYMORE. Therefor they are spending their time trying to find work arounds to fix things that currently CANT BE FIXED. So instead of blaming it on them not wanting to fix it maybe you should take the chaos the update has caused into effect. Kthxbai

Most of these suggestions were made long before the update, that linger on with no resolution one way or another.  Some suggestions have been sitting in the oven for months now that are not attended to, like reducing the number of days, zombies of returning voteexend back to us.  There has been no response nor corrective action and so it still sits in the oven.

What I am trying to get across is that what is the point of having a suggestions forums if the intent for it is to be ignored or not responded to properly, just like you did.  You answered that the fix cant be done which is fine.  What I want to know is.....Item 1) will it be fixed?  Yes or No.....Item 2) will  it be fixed?  Yes or no......you get the drift?  Just a simple yes or no!

 I play on this server a lot and as I stated of the 25 days.....the highest we get up to is 14.  We play the same 14 rounds over and over again without getting to the tougher zombies.

I am not asking to fix this now or I will be upset or some other childish reaction.  What I am asking is.....Will these items be attended to?  It is a yes or no question.

Simply fixing the number of days or zombies will go a long way in bringing back the fun of this server.  If you are not going to adjust the days, zombies or voteextend please give a reason why you do not want to do that because it makes no sense not to fix this item.

I agree with Shadow. Local works very hard to get the servers running well, and it can take A LOT of work to get updates to work right sometimes so be patient.  If you have ever worked on a server before it can be a pain in the behind, and to have a crazy mod that is original like Zombie Hell has to 10 times the pain in the behind.

Look, obviously you guys are getting a wrong impression.

I am not asking items to be fixed this very minute or else. 

I am asking whether our suggestions are being considered or not!  That is all.

The reason is because we cannot see what you guys are doing, does fixing the number of days/zombies take many months to fix or was the suggestion rejected long ago?  I dont know the answer to that suggestion but wish I did.

I understand what your saying man, and I can answer Yes to all your suggestions are seen and considered by Local. As for the classes that is hard to say, but I'm sure Local will do his best to get it working better. Don't worry just have a little faith.

Yep, they could have given a little heads up at least to the mod developers and server owners.

Yeah in case you didnt know all bots have slight wallhack abilities and dur aimbot xD

well i can see why people are reacting the way they are. its the posture you have taken local reads the forums and considers the suggestions. if you notice he makes changes bout every 3 to 5 months from what i have noticed. we do need more zombies. but local changes up the mixture of zombies to kill and and types of zombies. thats what keeps things fresh

Bummer to hear that you think I am ignoring peoples requests. I actually pride myself  on being very open to requests and ideas. Main reason ZombieHell hasn't been getting the T.L.C. it needs, is since I have been busy with a lot of projects before the update "BF" and "ZB". Hopefully with the upcoming update I'm releasing, things will be fixed.

Also, if your wondering if I have been neglecting suggestions or requests due to not replying to the topic, usually I fix the problem and forget to respond its fixed.
