Should NOTD have a Ventrilo Server?

This has probably been discussed before, but I was just wondering everyone's opinion on this.

I think NOTD should have a Ventrilo server so we can all socialize, get admins easier, and just have more fun in general. For example, there could be a "No Little Kids" channel for those who don't like listening to them in-game (you can disable in-game voice chat by typing "voice_enable 0" in the console).

I've seen this with other clans, and it has seemed to work well!

Agreed we had a teamspeak server up that no one used so local just took it down.

ventrillo isnt for mg or zhell the only time vent is used by css players is if there scrimming or want to cheat in pugs. i love vent but it isnt nessecary considering wed need a 100person vent for all the people that play and are in notd

They do occasionally get used, but typically by only 3 people having private conversations..

Every time they try to get more in, it usually results in 5 minutes of "Holy crap! We have a VENT?!?!?!", and then ends with "I may have to look into that later..".

And they never do..

Ahh, well if it never gets used I suppose there's not much point to it. I know I'd be in it quite often though!

personally i like using vent/teamspeak it lets us have conversations even if we use voice_enable 0 if u want the voices to stop

Only Time we would need it is if several clan members play non steam games. But even then you can just make a chat group with steam and add it to your game list.
